700
Days
To Live

The Number as a Statement
The fragmented and divided 700 does not represent a fixed figure, but a process in motion. The vertical lines that cut through it act as calendar marks: they evoke the
passing of days, the rhythm of the inevitable, and the intention to live each part of the journey with awareness.
Visually, they echo structured time — but they also interrupt it, humanise it. They are an invitation to pause, to record, to share.
A Living Calendar
These lines don’t just mark the passing of time — they turn it into content. Each one can be read as the space between videos, writings, lived experiences. Because the
project unfolds day by day, through entries that weave together the personal and the
universal.
Typography as Cultural Statement
The words DAYS and TO LIVE appear in typefaces that echo traditional British press
design. This is a nod to the creator’s identity: a multilingual translator, educator, and writer who, through 700 Days to Live, also becomes the chronicler of his own experience.
The choice of type is not decorative — it’s conceptual. It speaks of thought, critical
perspective, and a desire to communicate with clarity and depth — the voice of someone used to navigating between languages, cultures, and questions
Colour as Narrative Contrast
The use of red in the numbers represents passing time, vital energy, the urgency to act. The deep blue of the words brings balance: reflection, introspection, pause.
The dialogue between these two visual tones shapes an identity built on contrast — between living and thinking, moving and observing, feeling and expressing.
